About the role
We are looking for a passionate Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Havering. The position is full‑time and contracted, focusing on Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons for secondary students.
- Encourage creativity, experimentation and artistic development.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Art Teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Art.
- Experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to motivate learners of all abilities.
