ASB Officer – Temporary (3 months)

About the role

We are seeking two ASB Officers to support a housing association in South London on a three‑month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension. The role involves managing anti‑social behaviour and fraud within tenancies, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and helping to create safer neighbourhoods.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and develop strategies to prevent and manage anti‑social behaviour and tenancy fraud.
• Conduct regular reviews, audits and ensure compliance with housing standards.
• Respond promptly to ASB reports, collaborate with internal teams, environmental health, and law enforcement.
• Manage caseloads, gather evidence, maintain detailed records and install surveillance equipment when required.
• Engage with local communities, build relationships and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
• Provide intensive support to victims and witnesses and attend court proceedings on behalf of the council.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an ASB role within the housing sector.
• Strong legal knowledge of ASB and housing legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities, able to handle multiple tasks.
• Basic DBS check required.
