Asbestos Dual Surveyor Analyst

About the role

Join a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy as a dual‑qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. You will work across a variety of sectors, delivering high‑quality surveys and analytical reports for commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public‑sector sites in Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region. This permanent position offers a mix of field surveying and laboratory analysis with strong career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Undertake air monitoring, leak testing, reassurance testing and 4‑stage clearances following HSG248.
• Conduct bulk sampling and ensure correct procedures are applied.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Work on commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public‑sector projects.
• Manage workload independently across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site personnel.
• Ensure all activities comply with current legislation, HSE guidance and company procedures.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 certification (essential).
• Previous experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Confidence to undertake surveying and analytical duties independently.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Professional, organised and reliable work ethic.
