Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Kent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a leading asbestos consultancy serving the South East. The role involves both surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential sites throughout Kent.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing and smoke testing according to HSG248.
• Produce accurate, detailed and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Carry out bulk sampling and maintain precise site records.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS standards.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, reliable and quality‑focused approach.
