Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Liverpool

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in Liverpool. The successful Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high‑quality surveying and analytical services across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites while ensuring full compliance with current legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform air monitoring, four‑stage clearances, reassurance, leak and smoke testing according to HSG248.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports.
• Collect bulk asbestos samples from a variety of properties.
• Manage workload across multiple client sites and liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure all work adheres to HSE guidance, UKAS procedures and current asbestos legislation.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
