Asbestos Surveyor – Glasgow & Central Belt

About the role

You will join an established asbestos consultancy with a strong pipeline of work across Scotland. The business offers realistic workloads, structured scheduling and solid operational support, allowing you to work independently while benefiting from a professional management team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Work across commercial, industrial and public‑sector properties.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling where required.
• Produce clear, accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage your own diary and workload effectively.
• Travel across Glasgow and the wider Central Belt.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site representatives.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Previous commercial surveying experience is desirable.
• Comfortable working independently in a field‑based role.
• Strong communication and report‑writing skills.
• Professional, organised and reliable.
• Full UK driving licence.
