Asbestos Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join a specialist property team delivering asbestos management surveys across a diverse residential and commercial portfolio. The role is field‑based, covering South East England and London, and offers a stable permanent contract with a reputable organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out asbestos management surveys in occupied domestic and commercial properties in line with HSG264 and current legislation.
• Perform refurbishment, demolition and re‑inspection surveys when required.
• Produce accurate survey reports and maintain high‑quality digital records.
• Manage your own diary to meet operational targets.
• Provide technical advice on survey findings to customers, colleagues and contractors.
• Support the wider surveying team to ensure consistent data quality.

Required profile

• P402 qualification (or equivalent recognised asbestos surveying qualification).
• Proven experience conducting asbestos surveys in occupied domestic properties.
• Strong knowledge of HSG264 and best practice.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Experience in the housing association or social housing sector is advantageous but not essential.
