Asbestos Surveyor – Leeds

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is partnering with a UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy to hire an experienced Asbestos Surveyor for their Leeds office. The role involves delivering high‑quality management and refurbishment & demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential sites throughout Yorkshire and the wider North.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and R&D asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Perform bulk asbestos sampling on a variety of property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage your own diary, workload and client communications.
• Maintain electronic records and ensure all work meets current legislation and HSE guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Excellent written communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.
