Asbestos Surveyor – London

About the role

Riverside Environmental Services, a leading UK asbestos consultancy, is seeking experienced Asbestos Surveyors for its London and South East operations. You will work on a varied portfolio of domestic, commercial and industrial sites, delivering high‑quality surveys and technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys and collect accurate site information and samples.
• Produce high‑quality survey reports and technical documentation.
• Build positive relationships with clients and site stakeholders while maintaining compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Support and mentor trainee surveyors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience carrying out asbestos surveys.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Full UK driving licence and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Asbestos surveying techniques.
• Sample collection and analysis.
• Report writing and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of BOHS P402 and HSG264 standards.
