Asbestos Surveyor – Management & R&D Surveys

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS‑accredited consultancy in Waltham Cross. The role involves delivering Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and public sector sites across London and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and R&D asbestos surveys in line with HSG264 and current legislation.
• Perform bulk asbestos sampling on a variety of property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant survey reports and maintain electronic records.
• Manage own diary, workload and client communications professionally.
• Ensure all work adheres to UKAS procedures, HSE guidance and relevant health and safety standards.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• BOHS P402 certification.
• Knowledge of HSG264 asbestos survey methodology.
