Asbestos Surveyor – South East England

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join a UKAS‑accredited consultancy covering Kent and the wider South East. The role involves conducting surveys on commercial, domestic, healthcare, education and public sector sites, providing a varied workload and clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R/D) asbestos surveys.
• Survey commercial, domestic, healthcare, education and public sector properties.
• Collect bulk asbestos samples for analysis.
• Produce accurate asbestos survey reports in line with HSG264 guidance.
• Manage own workload and daily schedule effectively.
• Ensure compliance with HSE guidance and current asbestos legislation.
• Maintain professional client relationships and deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Minimum two years’ experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Experience within a UKAS‑accredited consultancy is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
