Aspiring Science Teacher Programme – Full‑time, £26,500‑£32,500

About the role

This full‑time, permanent position is for an aspiring Science teacher to join a secondary school in the Borough of Hounslow. You will teach KS3‑4 Science, work towards raising attainment and have the option to enrol in a salaried Schools Direct teacher‑training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons to KS3‑4 pupils, covering GCSE and relevant A‑Level content.
• Focus on improving student attainment and the overall quality of learning.
• Collaborate with the Science department on planning, assessment and curriculum development.

Required profile

• Degree in a Science‑related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, Natural Sciences, Mathematics & Physics, Environmental Science, Geography, Health Science or any STEM field) from a reputable university.
• Strong A‑Level and GCSE results.
• Confidence in knowledge of the GCSE and A‑Level Science curricula.
• Motivation to engage and inspire students and a commitment to professional development.

Required skills

• Subject knowledge in the chosen Science discipline.
