About the role

We are looking for recent graduates who are passionate about education to join our secondary school community near Chertsey. This full‑time graduate programme offers hands‑on classroom experience, mentorship from experienced teachers, and a clear pathway to a teacher training qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across various subject departments.
• Assist in classroom and small‑group instruction.
• Participate in lesson planning and delivery under mentor guidance.
• Develop classroom management and pedagogical skills.
• Engage in reflective practice and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Holder (or imminent holder) of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Strong enthusiasm for working with young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Resilience, commitment and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in pursuing a formal teacher training route (PGCE, School Direct, etc.).
