Assembler – Manufacturing (Eastbourne)

About the role

We are seeking an Assembler to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Eastbourne. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers a stable, long‑term career for a hands‑on individual who values quality and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Check completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report faults, defects, or assembly issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet production targets.
• Maintain accurate production records where required.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe.

Required profile

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and processes.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Positive, proactive, reliable, punctual and committed.
