About the role
Join our client’s team in Hythe as an Assembly Operative. This temporary position offers a clear pathway to permanent employment, with standard Monday‑to‑Friday hours (8 am‑5 pm) and a pay rate of £12.21 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Use handheld tools such as drills, screwdrivers and hammers to assemble components into finished products.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety.
- Carry out quality control checks on assembled items.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve assembly processes and productivity.
Required profile
- Comfortable with manual handling and the physical demands of the role.
- Ability to operate basic handheld tools effectively.
- Previous experience in assembly, factory work or a related field is desirable.
- Interest in practical, hands‑on work.
- Own transport is ideal due to the location.
