Assembly Operative

About the role

We are seeking an Assembly Operative to join our busy manufacturing team in Rainham, Essex. In this hands‑on position you will help build high‑quality products, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the assembly process.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components according to clear instructions and quality standards.
• Build, test and pack finished products.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Carry out quality checks to confirm products meet required specifications.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
• Report any issues and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Team player comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and stand for periods.
