Assembly Operative – Temporary (3 weeks)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assembly Operative to join our production team in Rochester on a temporary basis. The assignment lasts three weeks, with the potential to extend for an additional three months based on business needs. You will work Monday to Friday, 7 am‑3:30 pm, in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where precision and efficiency are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble products according to technical drawings.
• Operate handheld tools such as air guns, hand drills, rivet guns and saws.
• Inspect finished components for quality and compliance.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Required profile

• Previous experience in assembly or production using similar handheld tools.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
