About the role
The Assembly Technician will join an expanding electro‑mechanical manufacturing team in Pulborough. You will be responsible for assembling products through the encapsulation process and will receive full training on the job.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly work for encapsulation, including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating.
- Carry out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressors, vacuum pumps and spray‑booth equipment.
- Plan, progress and co‑ordinate workload according to the production schedule and internal customer needs.
- Raise production paperwork such as non‑compliance/rework records and store requisitions.
- Ensure quality, workmanship standards and ESD requirements are met, adhering to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Required profile
- Experience with high‑voltage assembly techniques.
- Ability to recognise electronic components.
- Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
- Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques.
- Good communication skills.
