Assembly Technician – Industrial Gearboxes

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Assembly Technician to join a large international manufacturer. You will be responsible for assembling, testing and fault‑finding on industrial gearboxes and motors, with full on‑the‑job training and development opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble a range of industrial gearboxes and motors.
• Replace gears, shafts and seals as required.
• Conduct testing and fault finding on mechanical equipment.
• Strip down and service gearboxes, motors and related components.
• Complete service jobs and documentation.

Required profile

• Mechanical background with hands‑on experience.
• Experience working on motors, gearboxes, vehicles or similar equipment.
• Suitable for a motor‑vehicle technician, mechanic or fitter/engineer seeking career progression.

• Salary £30,000‑£35,000 (OTE £41,000)
