Asset Data Officer

About the role

The Asset Data Officer will join the Asset Management team of a growing housing organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that property and compliance data is accurate, robust and supports investment, maintenance and strategic decisions across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the asset management database, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Manage housing asset information, including condition data, compliance records and maintenance history.
• Support coordination and monitoring of compliance programmes, ensuring timely inspections and remedial actions.
• Produce regular reports on asset performance, compliance status and maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing business plans and investment strategies through data analysis.
• Contribute to the enhancement of asset management systems and processes.
• Provide training and support to colleagues on data procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and external stakeholders to maintain high‑quality asset information.
• Support resident communications related to inspections, maintenance works and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Experience in asset management, data management, compliance or a related discipline within the housing sector.
• Strong understanding of housing compliance requirements and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Proven ability to use asset management systems and databases.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
