Asset Engineer (E&P) – Fixed Plant & Contact Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Engineer (E&P) to develop long‑term asset strategies and investment plans for fixed plant and traction power infrastructure within a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop E&P asset strategies and investment plans.
• Support renewal, refurbishment and enhancement programmes.
• Assess asset condition and provide engineering recommendations.
• Produce technical reports, business cases and asset management plans.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance and project teams.

Required profile

• Background in asset engineering, maintenance or asset management.
• Knowledge of Electrification & Plant (E&P) assets.
• Experience with fixed plant, contact systems, OLE, traction power or similar infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder management abilities.
• Rail industry experience is desirable.
