Asset Manager – Commercial Income Development

About the role

Our client, a family‑owned property investment and management company, is seeking an Asset Manager to drive commercial income across a portfolio of 100 buildings throughout England. The role blends strategic research, relationship building and leasehold expertise while spending most of the time on the road.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop commercial income opportunities such as parking, storage, telecoms, energy, advertising and related services.
• Build relationships with potential commercial customers and negotiate deals on behalf of the business.
• Collaborate with senior team members, following guidance on priorities and direction.
• Apply leasehold management knowledge across the portfolio.
• Support the Asset Management Team and attend the North London office fortnightly.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in property or real‑estate.
• Own a car and be prepared to travel across England 2‑4 days a week.
• Strong understanding of leasehold management; knowledge of property law and contracts is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Property surveyor training is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Salary in the region of £50,000‑£60,000 per year plus discretionary bonus.
