Asset Manager

About the role

Hemiko is seeking a dynamic Asset Manager to lead the development, construction, optimisation and growth of district heating network assets. Reporting to the Assets and Utilities Director, you will work across all project phases, from mobilisation to post‑construction expansion, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery and high customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior point of contact for stakeholders and contracted customers associated with each asset.
• Collaborate with Development and Connection teams to identify growth opportunities and devise expansion strategies for the heat network.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor, analyse and report on asset performance, risks and potential for growth.
• Manage financial models and documents to evaluate actual and forecast performance against investment cases.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Experience in contract negotiation, commercial and financial assessment for energy infrastructure assets.
• Strong background in financial and management accounting, budgeting, cost control and financial modelling.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for district heating operations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and optimise asset performance.
