Asset Surveyor

About the role

Raven Housing Trust is expanding its Asset Management team and seeks an Asset Surveyor to help shape investment decisions and improve living standards across its housing portfolio. The role blends field visits with digital data collection, offering a varied and autonomous working experience.

Key responsibilities

• Visit residential properties across the portfolio (Brighton to Croydon) to capture accurate observations and photographic records.
• Assess property condition, focusing on key issues such as damp and mould.
• Use digital tools to record, manage and analyse data, creating a consistent view of the housing stock.
• Maintain a personal diary and schedule appointments via a smart scheduling system.
• Engage with residents, delivering a professional and positive experience during each visit.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for accurate data capture.
• Ability to work independently, organise travel and equipment, and manage a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of customers and providing a friendly service.
• Interest in housing, property or surveying and a desire to develop long‑term expertise.
