Asset Surveyor – Property Data & Survey Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Asset Surveyor to join our Assets team and support the accurate collection and analysis of property data across a diverse housing portfolio. Working primarily in the field, you will conduct stock condition surveys, carry out HHSRS assessments and produce Energy Performance Certificates to inform investment and sustainability strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive stock condition surveys to assess component age, condition and remaining life.
• Perform HHSRS assessments, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Produce EPCs in line with statutory requirements and organisational objectives.
• Gather and record accurate property data to support investment programmes and energy‑efficiency initiatives.
• Engage positively with customers, stakeholders and internal teams, maintaining high standards of communication and service.
• Support equality, diversity, health and safety, and other property‑management compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education or equivalent, with a relevant professional qualification.
• Proven experience in stock condition surveying, building or property surveying, HHSRS assessments or EPC production.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, surveying methodologies and Decent Homes legislation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a field‑based environment.

What we offer

• Salary of £50,000 per annum plus benefits
• Hybrid working model based in Ealing, West London with regular travel
• Full‑time permanent contract (35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday)
