Assistant Aftersales Manager – Dagenham

About the role

This position offers an experienced automotive professional the chance to support the daily operations of a busy dealership's aftersales department in Dagenham. You will work closely with the Aftersales Manager to ensure high standards of service, parts availability, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Aftersales Manager with the day‑to‑day running of Service and Parts departments.
• Help lead, motivate and develop the aftersales team.
• Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor departmental performance, productivity and profitability.
• Manage workshop efficiency and maximise utilisation.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller or Assistant Aftersales Manager in the motor trade.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commercially aware with a focus on delivering results.
• Passionate about outstanding customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.
