Assistant Area Cleaning Manager – South East

About the role

We are a commercial cleaning and support services company seeking an Assistant Area Cleaning Manager for the South East region. This permanent, full‑time role will support frontline teams to exceed service expectations and build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead & inspire cleaning teams by motivating, developing and supporting them to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage recruitment, employee relations and team performance while fostering a positive, cohesive work environment.
• Ensure service excellence by driving compliance with Service Level Agreements across multiple sites.
• Monitor budgets and payroll, keeping costs in check and guaranteeing accurate payroll processing.
• Build strong relationships with customers and employees, acting as the go‑to person for smooth operations and client satisfaction.
• Champion best practices by maintaining cleaning plans, troubleshooting issues and thinking on your feet in a fast‑moving environment.
• Oversee stock management to ensure all sites have sufficient cleaning materials and consumables.

Required profile

• Sharp, detail‑driven manager with a passion for delivering top‑tier service.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where daily challenges arise.
• Strong communicator able to engage effectively with teams and clients.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly beneficial.
