Assistant Construction Administrator – Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an organised and detail‑focused Assistant Construction Administrator to support a busy residential development business. Working closely with the Development Manager and the wider technical team, you will act as the central hub for design and construction information from pre‑construction through to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical information between consultants, contractors and internal departments.
• Ensure all technical approvals, drawings and supporting documentation are obtained and issued on schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing registers across multiple developments.
• Liaise with planning authorities, Building Control, utility providers and warranty organisations.
• Organise and attend design team meetings, record actions and follow‑up.
• Prepare and issue handover documentation, including user guides and operation manuals.
• Attend site meetings and visits to support delivery and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a technical, design or construction coordination role (desirable).
• Strong document management and administrative abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage several projects simultaneously.
