Assistant Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Assistant Finance Business Partner will support the Fire and Gas Operational activities within Sanctuary Group's Affordable Housing Finance team. Working from Worcester with a balance of home and office days, the role is temporary for up to 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective financial analysis services to Compliance Operations and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Prepare business information for key stakeholders to support decision‑making and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate financial records and enforce financial controls.
• Maintain and develop financial systems and tools for internal and external analysis of the asset portfolio.
• Review financial performance against criteria and forecast impacts on asset performance.

Required profile

• AAT qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to Grade C GCSE English and Maths.
• Working knowledge of financial regulation, legislation and current practice.
• Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
