Assistant Financial Administrator

About the role
As an Assistant Financial Administrator you will support the finance team in delivering accurate management accounts and client services for a diverse portfolio of media, entertainment and other sector clients.
Key responsibilities
- Upload daily bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile petty cash card accounts (Soldo) and company credit cards each month.
- Process employee expense claims and maintain the purchase ledger.
- Post supplier invoices, run payment batches and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Post disbursements and recharges to client accounts with supporting documentation.
- Prepare payment files for bank upload, ensuring proper authorisation.
- Perform monthly client account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Take client credit‑card payments over the phone while adhering to compliance procedures.
Required profile
- AAT part‑qualified or experienced sales/purchase ledger clerk.
- Practical experience in accounting or finance functions.
- Interest in media, entertainment or other client sectors is advantageous.
