Assistant General Manager Luton

About the role

As Assistant General Manager at the Luton FBO, you will support the General Manager in overseeing all business functions, ensuring safety, compliance and exceptional guest service. You will act as the GM’s deputy, leading operational teams and managing airside and ramp activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational teams across Airside/Ramp, Security and Guest Experience, scheduling and directing duties.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards, oversee equipment, facilities and maintenance.
• Drive business development, support the GM in maintaining existing customers and attracting new business.
• Manage performance, recruitment, onboarding, training and succession planning for staff.
• Serve as escalation point for guest enquiries and collaborate with Finance and HR.

Required profile

• Proven track record of leading operational teams in aviation hospitality or a similar fast‑paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work under pressure and make data‑driven decisions.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK, full UK driving licence and ability to obtain an airport security badge.
