About the role
The Richmond Golf Club is seeking a motivated Assistant Greenkeeper to join its dedicated course maintenance team. Working alongside Richmond Park in Southwest London, you will help maintain an 18‑hole course built on sand and gravel, using modern equipment and an up‑to‑date irrigation system.
Key responsibilities
- Daily course preparation and presentation
- Turf maintenance and renovation
- Safe operation of modern machinery
- Management of the irrigation system
- Collaborating with a 10‑person maintenance team
Required profile
- NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf (or working towards it)
- Flexible approach to working hours, including a 1‑in‑3 weekend rota
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required skills
- Sports turf maintenance
- Operation of modern golf‑course machinery
- Irrigation system handling
