Assistant Management Accountant

About the role
We are partnering with a fast‑growing business in Manchester to recruit a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant. The role is hands‑on, covering bank reconciliations, payments, accounting processes and operational finance.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile daily bank transactions across operational accounts.
- Post, process and match supplier and operational invoices.
- Run and manage BACS payment processes.
- Process and review employee expenses.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
- Review, post and reconcile monthly payroll.
- Assist with VAT reconciliations and filings.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
- Experience in a finance role.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
