Assistant Management Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a leading interactive entertainment company’s Corporate Planning team in London. Working closely with the Corporate Planning Manager, you will support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities while maintaining day‑to‑day management accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Collate and process data for budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools.
• Produce regular reconciliations of actuals versus forecasts.
• Assist in preparing the financial review package for monthly board meetings.
• Upload actual data to forecasting systems accurately and on time.
• Prepare cash‑flow statements and liaise with subsidiaries to explain variances.
• Generate tracking reports on spend and gross sales and support monthly analysis for the headquarters in Japan.
• Maintain master data and perform regular uploads across forecast, stock‑in‑channel and expense systems.
• Compile data for financial planning, including budget submissions and mid‑term reviews.
• Participate in project work to streamline and improve existing processes.

Required profile

• Experience preparing reports, running finance transactions and performing reconciliations, preferably within a finance department.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Critical thinking and attention to detail.
