Assistant Management Accountant – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well‑established global media business in London. This permanent, hybrid position offers a solid foundation for early‑career finance professionals, providing hands‑on experience and mentorship within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month‑end close activities.
• Process journals, accruals, pre‑payments and perform balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Carry out inter‑company reconciliations and raise recharge invoices.
• Support VAT, fixed‑asset, accounts payable and general ledger processes.
• Produce monthly management reports and help with year‑end audit preparation.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting and contribute to finance projects under the Management Accountant’s guidance.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a finance or accounts role, or a recent degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and motivated to build a long‑term career in finance.
• Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
