Assistant Management Accountant + Study Support

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to own the Accounts Receivable function and support month‑end processes for a fast‑growing consumer brand. Working closely with the Finance Lead, you will help improve financial processes, drive efficiencies and assist with the rollout of a new ERP system while receiving study support for your professional qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Receivable function, handling key retail accounts and resolving invoice queries.
• Support month‑end activities, including accruals, pre‑payments and payroll journals.
• Assist with VAT submissions, HMRC checks and other financial reporting tasks.
• Oversee the outsourced finance team and collaborate with AP and AR colleagues.
• Support the implementation of NetSuite or a similar ERP system and drive finance process improvements.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external retail partners.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the Finance Lead and wider finance team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Senior Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role with month‑end exposure.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Part‑qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar ERP system) experience.
• Familiarity with ERP implementation projects (e.g., D365).
