Assistant Manager – Automotive Service

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Centre Manager at our Harlow autocentre. You will help drive business performance, ensure a high‑quality customer experience and contribute to the smooth running of workshop and retail activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Centre Manager in day‑to‑day operations and staff leadership.
• Oversee workshop activity, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Drive sales targets and promote upselling of products and services.
• Deliver coaching and on‑the‑job training to team members.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service journey.

Required profile

• Proven ability to deliver high customer satisfaction through effective management.
• Experience coaching and training colleagues in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current valid driving licence.
