Assistant Manager – Fashion Retail (Glasgow Fort)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join a leading fashion retailer at Glasgow Fort. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support the Store Manager in delivering commercial success, creating an engaging shopping experience and maintaining high visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy fashion store.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing retail team.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every opportunity.
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Drive sales, productivity and KPI performance.
• Assist with recruitment, training and succession planning.
• Ensure high operational standards across the store.
• Foster a positive and motivated team culture.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in fashion, footwear, accessories or lifestyle retail.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to drive sales.
• Excellent visual merchandising abilities.
• Experience coaching and developing retail teams.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and hands‑on leadership style.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment is an advantage.
