Assistant Manager – Flagship Retail (London)

About the role

Join a high‑performing flagship store on Oxford Street as an Assistant Manager. You will help drive commercial success while fostering a supportive, ambitious culture for both customers and the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a large in‑store team to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through visible floor‑level leadership.
• Support day‑to‑day store operations and ensure seamless commercial execution.
• Analyse sales data and commercial insights to identify performance opportunities.
• Develop talent through coaching, succession planning and performance management.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to build capability across the team.
• Maintain high standards in both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations.
• Champion brand values and create an engaging experience for customers and employees.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Store Manager in a flagship or high‑turnover retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and deliver strong commercial results.
• Track record of driving sales, profitability and customer experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing business priorities.
• Energy, positivity and a genuine passion for retail leadership.
• Previous London retail experience is highly desirable.
