Assistant Manager – Hospitality & Pizza

About the role

Pizza Pilgrims is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join its Shoreditch team. You will help create memorable pizza experiences, maintain high service standards, and support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy, award‑winning pizzeria.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety compliance across the restaurant.
• Create and manage staff rotas, covering peak periods and staff availability.
• Oversee stock ordering, inventory control and waste reduction.
• Lead team meetings, deliver training and coach staff to deliver excellent service.
• Monitor food quality, handle customer feedback and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a love of pizza.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and solve problems quickly.
• Commitment to inclusive values and respect for diversity.
