Assistant Manager – London (Covent Garden)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our Covent Garden restaurant. You will work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef, helping to deliver the high‑standard hospitality and fresh food experience Honest Burgers is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily shifts and ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Oversee Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance.
• Assist in training, coaching and developing team members.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
• Handle compliance reporting and documentation.
• Drive sales growth by continuously improving service and performance.

Required profile

• Passionate about “old‑school hospitality” and quality food.
• Hard‑working, reliable and ready to take on leadership responsibilities.
• Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive culture for both team and customers.
• Willing to collaborate closely with senior management and the kitchen team.
