Assistant Manager - Reselfridges

About the role

The Reselfridges team scales Selfridges' circular business models (Pre-Loved, Resell, Repair, Refill and Recycle). As Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day delivery of these services through partner management, stakeholder engagement, operational oversight and performance analysis, reporting to the Circular Manager within the Accessories Buying and Merchandising team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of circular services and product offerings, and partner with Buying teams to grow circular sales across categories.
• Manage relationships with external circular partners, monitor their operational and commercial performance, resolve issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support new circular business models by assessing customer opportunity, commercial potential, operational requirements and scalability.
• Onboard partners and liaise with operational teams and decision makers to deliver circular initiatives and promote Reselfridges moments.
• Conduct market research on new partners and technologies.
• Assist with performance reporting on sales, transactions, traffic, conversion and customer metrics, and map out new processes and training packs.
• Project manage pilots and test-and-learn initiatives.

Required profile

• Knowledge of circular business models and sustainable business considerations.
• Evidence of project management, implementation and execution.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions and to solve problems with no established process.
• Desirable: experience supporting circular business models, reselling or pre-loved propositions, and reverse logistics.

Required skills

• Commercial acumen and understanding of retail and sales metrics.
• Data-driven approach with strong Excel proficiency.
• Written and verbal communication, with PowerPoint proficiency.
• Customer-focused service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
