Assistant Manager – Retail Store

About the role

Join Savers as an Assistant Manager in our Bristol store and help create a warm, supportive environment for customers and staff. You will work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales, develop team members and strengthen community connections.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and visual merchandising.
• Motivate and coach team members to achieve sales targets and develop their skills.
• Manage staff rotas, delegate tasks and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Analyse sales data, identify opportunities for growth and implement promotional activities.
• Represent Savers in the local community, building relationships with customers and partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong delegation and organisational abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on maximising sales.
• People‑centred approach, keeping staff and customers at the heart of decisions.
