Assistant Nursery Manager

About the role

Busy Bees is opening a brand‑new 110‑place nursery in Banbury and is looking for an Assistant Nursery Manager to help launch the setting from day one. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining high educational standards.
• Develop and deliver an engaging, age‑appropriate curriculum tailored to children’s needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety policies.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and coaching to staff, fostering a cohesive team.
• Enhance parent satisfaction through excellent communication and service.
• Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, payroll and recruitment.
• Maintain operational records and contribute to financial planning.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification or higher in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting; supervisory experience (e.g., Nursery Room Leader or Manager) is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality early years provision.
