Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our commercial fit‑out division, delivering projects across hospitals, schools, universities and leisure facilities. You will work closely with senior management and contracts managers, helping to keep site programmes on track and supporting the set‑up of new sites.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update site programmes in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
• Assist in planning and programming the initial set‑up of new fit‑out sites.
• Visit multiple sites, monitor progress and report findings to the Contracts Manager.
• Support commercial activities, including tender returns and bid preparation.
• Help ensure health and safety compliance on all project sites.

Required profile

• Experience in project management, contract management, refurbishment or maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple site visits.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Understanding of commercial tender processes.
• Health and safety awareness in construction environments.
