Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our social‑housing team in Uxbridge. Working within the Pyramid Plus South joint venture, you will support the Commercial & General Manager in delivering cost‑effective repairs, voids and replacement projects for over 23,000 homes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in commercial control and reporting for the maintenance contract.
• Review, validate and approve subcontractor quotations and variations in line with NHF V7.2 pricing agreements.
• Agree subcontractor valuations, payments and measure work against contractual rates.
• Generate and agree variations with clients, applying the NHF Schedule of Rates.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support financial target achievement.
• Liaise with clients, partners, consultants and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in social housing, particularly in voids and repairs.
• Familiarity with NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR codes) and NHF V7.2.
• Experience measuring works, generating applications and managing supply‑chain partners.
• Strong numeracy, financial reporting and data‑analysis abilities.
• Advanced IT skills, especially Excel and Word.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
