Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Super Prime Residential

About the role

We are partnering with a rapidly expanding super‑prime residential contractor delivering exclusive high‑end properties in Central London. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join the commercial team on a flagship multi‑million‑pound luxury residential project in Lancaster Gate, working closely with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor with day‑to‑day cost control, cost management and financial tracking.
• Prepare accurate cost reports and valuation updates.
• Evaluate subcontractor applications, manage variations and support final account settlements.
• Conduct commercial analyses, reconcile discrepancies and maintain meticulous records.
• Collaborate with site teams, project managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in the high‑end residential sector is strongly preferred.
• Strong foundational understanding of cost control and cost management processes.
• Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Motivation to learn and progress on prestigious, high‑value projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard quantity surveying software/tools.
• Experience in financial tracking and cost reporting.
