Assistant Restaurant Leader

About the role

Join Raising Cane’s as an Assistant Restaurant Leader and support the Restaurant Leader in daily operations. You will help maintain the brand’s high standards, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and contribute to a fast‑paced, customer‑focused team.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, onboard, schedule, and terminate hourly crew members.
• Manage payroll, cash handling, and daily financial accountability.
• Act as manager on duty, opening and closing the restaurant.
• Conduct shift meetings, enforce policies, and monitor safety standards.
• Deploy crew during shifts, provide coaching, and document performance.
• Deliver exemplary customer service and maintain restaurant cleanliness.
• Authorize manager‑level actions such as discounts and time‑clock overrides.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and organized with the ability to juggle changing priorities.
• Self‑driven, flexible, and energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced kitchen environment that involves physical activity.
