Assistant Site Manager – South Birmingham / Bromsgrove

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager on our West Midlands projects, ensuring the build programme is delivered to company standards. The role involves on‑site coordination of labour and subcontractors and maintaining health and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Control and coordinate all on‑site labour and subcontractors on a plot‑by‑plot basis according to the build programme.
• Monitor site activities to ensure strict adherence to the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
• Maintain site security, including traffic management, theft prevention and public access control.
• Provide cover for the Site Manager during absences, meetings, holidays or sickness.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a house‑building environment.
• Ability to plan, organise and monitor subcontractor activities on a daily basis.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a desire to progress within the business.
• Relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.
