Assistant Solicitor - Personal Injury

About the role

Are you a qualified solicitor looking to take the next step in your personal injury career? We are seeking an ambitious Assistant Lawyer to join our London team but able to work North‑West based, working alongside an experienced Lead Lawyer on a high‑profile client account.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with and manage Employer’s Liability and Public Liability personal injury claims.
• Handle cases ranging from straightforward matters to million‑pound disputes.
• Support the strategic management of a major client account.
• Investigate liability, quantum, and coverage‑related issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful outcomes for clients.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Experience handling defendant personal injury claims.
• Strong knowledge of EL/PL litigation.
• Understanding of coverage disputes or willingness to develop this expertise.
• Excellent communication, analytical and case‑management skills.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients.
